Excellent for developing musical ear and fine motor skills. This is one of our most popular programs because the piano enchants with its sound and elegance.

Guitar

If what your child likes is modern music such as pop or rock, the guitar is the ideal instrument. We will give him/her all the tools to become a great guitarist.

This is one of our most empowering programs because songwriting helps you tell your story, build confidence, and connect with others through your own original music.

Deanna Maio (she/her) is a voice, piano and ukulele teacher and acting coach, specializing in providing voice functions for singers, speakers, and actors. Teacher Profile: Melissa Sondergeld-Hood
Melissa Sondergeld-Hood is music/theater teacher and professional theatre artist in the Portland area. She taught at Mayer Christian School for 4 years and is active and working in local theater. She graduated from Warner Pacific University in 2015 in Music and Theatre Education. She learned to play the clarinet at the age of 10, started in theater at the age of 15, and then sang from the age of 19.
