Director Deanna’s Interview With National Association of Teachers of Singing
Confident Voice Studio celebrates director and founder Deanna Maio’s feature in the Fall 2020 edition of “Inter Nos.”
“Inter Nos” is distributed to 7,000+ singing teachers across the U.S. and provides important information about the National Association of Teachers of Singing community.
A major feature is the “Independent Voices” section, which spotlighted Confident Voice Studio’s April 2020 production of “The Show Must Go Online,” the world’s first virtual musical.
Safe & Fun Covid-times Music Programs
While music and performing arts programs across the nation closed due to the pandemic, studio director Maio “jumped in early and came up with innovative ways to engage her students.”
“The Show Must Go Online” fans and cast members alike raved that the show was a much needed distraction and creative outlet during shelter-in-place.
The production ran twice, with one adult and one youth cast, each celebrated with a Premiere Watch Party. But it wasn’t the only safe and fun covid-times music program Maio spearheaded.
Confident Learning Lab supports families with distance learning
In September 2020, Confident Voice Studio launched the Confident Learning Lab, “a new program for local school children in small education pods, where on-site teachers assist students with their assigned schoolwork and creative arts.”
